About Solar Installer Accountants
Solar Installer Accountants is an accountancy service for people who fit solar for a living: sole traders doing domestic roofs, and limited companies running fitting teams and subcontract work. It is a single specialism rather than a general practice with a solar page bolted on.
The work is delivered by Tidy Money Ltd, a UK accountancy practice run by Preetesh Parmar FCCA and regulated by the ACCA. That is a real firm with a real regulator, and both are checkable independently rather than being claims made on a website.
How an Engagement Works
You describe the work through the enquiry form. We come back by email with a fixed fee and the date the work has to be finished by. Nothing is charged until you agree the quote, and the fee does not move afterwards because a quarter turned out busier than expected.
Anti-money-laundering identity checks come first, as they do at any UK firm. After that you send records on an agreed cycle, we do the work, and you see the numbers before anything is filed.
How the Content Here Is Written
Every rate, threshold and date on this site is held in one file with the primary source it came from, and each is read from that source before it is published. The VAT positions come from Notice 708/6 and HMRC's reverse charge guidance, the capital allowances positions from the Capital Allowances Act and HMRC's manuals, and the Smart Export Guarantee positions from Ofgem. Where guidance is genuinely unclear we say so rather than picking a reading and presenting it as settled.
Pages carry a last-reviewed date and are written by the editorial team rather than under an invented byline. There are no testimonials or case studies on this site, because we would rather publish nothing than publish something a reader cannot verify.
